Job Summary
The Internal Auditor will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the College's operations. This role involves helping Bagabaga College of Education accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise professional and administrative supervision over internal audit staff to ensure the internal auditing system of the college is efficient and effective
- Carry out periodic internal audits of the college
- Submit audit reports to the Audit Implementation Committee through the Principal of the College
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent qualification)
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Current membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors
- Membership with a recognized professional association for accountants
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Deputy Internal Auditor in a College of Education or similar position in a comparable institution or organization
