About the Position

La Community Bank LTD seeks a qualified Information Technology Manager to lead the IT team in developing and implementing information systems that enhance operational efficiency.

Job Summary

• Lead the IT team in the development and implementation of information systems to enhance operations and drive efficiency through technology
• Manage day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring proper planning, end-user impact assessment, change management, training, and quality management
• Monitor performance to ensure deadlines, budgets, and service levels are met with consistent results delivery

Required Qualifications

• Minimum first degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., CCNP, MCP, OCP)
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a rural or community bank environment

Required Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of banking operations and core banking software (e.g., Bankmill, T24)
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Working knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle)
• Strong knowledge of network and systems administration (Windows, Linux, Novell)
• Knowledge of enterprise database systems
• Understanding of Data Protection Act and related industry legislations, standards, and codes of practice
• Good working knowledge of information risk analysis and management
