Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Human Resource/Administration Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR strategies, systems, policies, and procedures. This role provides guidance and support in administering HR functions in a manner that creates a harmonious and productive working environment. The successful candidate will attract, develop, motivate, and retain talented employees to support the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of HR strategies and systems
- Establishment and management of HR policies and procedures
- Administration of HR functions across the organization
- Creation of a positive and harmonious working environment
- Talent attraction, development, and retention initiatives
- Guidance and support to management on HR matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related discipline
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience
- At least 3-4 years in a senior managerial role
- HR Generalist experience preferred
- Experience in a unionized working environment preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
