Position Overview
The Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) and Administrative Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a holistic approach to human resources and organizational effectiveness. This role encompasses people, processes, and systems that foster the ActionAid culture to optimize staff productivity and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure familiarity with Ghana labour laws and compliance, confirming that ActionAid's employment policies align with national legal requirements
- Develop country-level HROE and Administrative strategy, organizational effectiveness change management plans, annual HR plans, budgets, and work plans in alignment with the Country Strategic Plan, Global HR Standards, Ghana laws, and organizational priorities
- Lead implementation of HR Strategy, annual HROE and Administrative plans, budgets, and work plans in accordance with approved frameworks and HR Policy guidelines
- Develop and implement HROE and Administrative strategies, systems, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable groups
- Develop and update HR measurement indicators and provide guidance on reporting HR Management performance across the Affiliate
- Participate in regional cluster Human Resources and Organizational Development networks to contribute to cluster priorities
- Develop and lead implementation of succession planning mechanisms
