Position Overview

Mumuadu Rural Bank PLC seeks an experienced Head of Marketing to lead all marketing strategies, communications, and public relations efforts. This role combines strategic planning with tactical execution to strengthen the bank's market position and brand presence.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
• Directly supervises: Marketing Officers
• Department: Management

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Planning

• Plan, develop, and execute all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations efforts (external and internal)
• Coordinate marketing initiatives at strategic and tactical levels with other bank operations
• Analyze consumer behavior and develop customer personas
• Identify new marketing segments, product development opportunities, and market share growth strategies

Budget & Operations

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the marketing department
• Monitor customer satisfaction and ongoing service quality

Brand & Communications

• Ensure brand message consistency across all media channels
• Identify community events and opportunities that maximize bank visibility and align with strategic objectives

External Relations

• Maintain relationships with media houses (electronic and print), communities, customers/clients, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain updates with the Bank of Ghana (BoG) and ARB Apex Bank

Additional Duties

• Undertake other functions as directed by the Chief Executive Officer

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication Studies, or related field
• CIM, Master's in Marketing, or MBA (preferred)

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years in banking (preferably commercial, rural, or community banking)
• Minimum 3 years in managerial practice
