Head, IT Audit at Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) LTD

About the Role

Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) LTD is seeking a dynamic and highly competent professional to lead our IT audit function. The Head of IT Audit will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of the bank's information systems, cybersecurity controls, and IT governance frameworks. This role is critical to safeguarding the bank's digital infrastructure and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit plan aligned with the bank's strategic objectives
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT controls, cybersecurity measures, and data protection protocols
• Conduct audits of core banking systems, digital platforms, and third-party service providers
• Provide timely and actionable recommendations to enhance IT governance and risk management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory directives and international best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field
• Recognized professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in IT audit or information security within a regulated financial institution
