Head, Business Intelligence & Analytics at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

The Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing an effective BI & Analytics team. This role oversees big data and advanced analytics initiatives, data integration/engineering, and business intelligence and data warehousing. The successful candidate will drive the performance of analytics solutions to impact overall business results and deliver actionable insights to business and product teams that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead three core sub-functions: Insights and Analytics, Data Science, and BI & Reporting
• Provide access to critical information that supports multiple areas including sales & distribution, finance, and marketing
• Develop functional strategy aligned with overarching business goals
• Ensure effective implementation of functional strategy through direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans, and roadmaps
• Oversee regular review of functional strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with changing internal and external ecosystem dynamics
• Build and manage a high-performing BI & Analytics team
