Position Overview
Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) is seeking a Head of Business Desk to position the Business Desk as the market leader and top revenue generator while cultivating a strong, positive influence within the business community. You will build the team into a high-performing, competitively driven unit and safeguard the integrity of our content by upholding 'Credibility' as the core pillar of our brand.
Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities
- Manage daily operations and overall management of the Business Desk
- Lead the planning and execution of all Business Desk projects aimed at achieving market leadership, audience growth, and increased revenue
- Collaborate in developing the business news strategy for the Business Desk
- Proactively conduct research into business news programming and advertiser/listener needs to enhance productivity and improve service delivery
- Create brand extensions of existing programmes and develop bespoke content for the Business Desk
- Provide leadership and motivation to the team to ensure all objectives are achieved
- Lead recruitment efforts for the team and be responsible for retaining team members
- Manage team welfare and morale while cultivating a sub-culture aligned with the organization's overall culture
- Ensure internal communication within the team
- Ensure all unit content and team activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and industry codes, including editorial guidelines, the GJA code of ethics, and our code of conduct
