About the Role

The Parliamentary Service of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill a vacancy for a Graphic Designer position in Accra.

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing on-screen graphics for news, live parliamentary broadcasts and programmes to enhance visual storytelling and audience comprehension.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will provide support to the Clerk for Parliament and Management of the Service through the Director of Broadcasting by performing the following duties:

• Generate dynamic broadcast assets, including titles, lower thirds, complex infographics and motion animations
• Develop standardized visual templates for parliamentary broadcasts to ensure brand consistency across all legislative coverage
• Collaborate with production and editorial teams to enhance narrative clarity through high-impact visual aids
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Clerk to Parliament

Qualifications and Experience Required

• A Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia or a related field from an accredited university
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools
• Creative thinking with a sharp eye for detail
• Commitment to high-quality technical standards
