## Title: French Teacher – IGCSE & A Level

Position Overview

GIU International Christian Academy is seeking an experienced French Teacher to deliver IGCSE and A Level instruction to students. This is a full-time teaching position based in Tema, Golfcity, Ghana.

Key Requirements

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Degree or Master's degree in French

Main Responsibilities

Teach listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills to IGCSE and A Level students
Guide students in the transition toward critical analysis of French literature and film
Facilitate classroom discussions on complex social and political issues in French
Improve student fluency and spontaneous response in French
Prepare and mark mock exams that mirror the structure of IGCSE/A-Level papers
Conduct formal oral examinations as the examiner, including recording sessions and ensuring compliance with examination board protocols
Monitor student progress and identify those requiring additional support
