Food & Beverage Supervisor at Reputable Hotel

About the Role

A three-star hotel located in the Eastern Region of Ghana is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise activities of food and beverage staff to provide high-value services to guests
• Assist in the training of the food and beverage team on a regular basis in liaison with the Food & Beverage Manager
• Maintain full knowledge of all menu items being served
• Ensure that all beverage write-offs and breakages are signed off by the F&B cost controller and F&B Manager on a regular basis
• Ensure that all food and beverage complementary bills are posted, settled, and signed off by relevant managers on a daily basis
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests
• Supervise the food and beverage team in all aspects of the department and ensure standard operating procedures are followed
• Submit monthly reports on food and beverages to the Food & Beverage Manager
• Maintain high grooming standards for the food and beverage team
• Assist the F&B Manager in conducting periodic performance reviews for the food and beverage team
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Required Education

• Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent from a recognized academic institution in Ghana
• Culinary training is an advantage

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position in a 3-star hotel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, compliance, and discipline
• Prepared to work long hours and as duty demands
