In Ghana, we support Agriculture, Education, WASH, and Child Protection programs in the Upper West region since 2012.

Position Overview

Job Title: Field Officer (FO)

Location: Fielmuo, Upper West Region, Ghana

Employment Type: Full-Time

Expected Duration: 2 years (renewable)

Reporting to the program coordinators, the Field Officer will coordinate all VVF activities within assigned communities, serving as the primary link between the Foundation and target beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

Community and Stakeholder Mobilization

• Participate in the identification and enrollment of communities in the program
• Observe community entry protocols in new communities
• Mobilize stakeholders and beneficiaries to participate in LIFE, E-CLIP, and WASH program activities
• Facilitate the establishment of program structures such as VSLAs, FBOs, and Girls Clubs
• Serve as a link between VVF and target communities
• Identify and work closely with opinion leaders, traditional leaders, and religious leaders in communities
• Sensitize communities on the various interventions and strategies of the Foundation
• Represent VVF at community level meetings in consultation with the coordinator or supervisor

Training, Mentorship, and Coaching

• Work with coordinators to develop training materials
• Facilitate training of beneficiaries on activities related to LIFE, WASH, and E-CLIP programs
• Support project structures to develop and implement action plans
