External Auditor at Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC

About the Position

Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC, a rural bank operating in the Western Region of Ghana, is seeking to engage the services of an external audit firm. The successful firm will audit the financial statements of the bank and issue reports in accordance with all statutory requirements on an annual basis for a 6-year engagement period.

Firm Requirements

• Must qualify under Section 138 of the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992)
• Must be recognised as a licensed audit firm in Ghana according to the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058)
• Must be in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana at the time of application and throughout the recruitment process
• Must have been in audit practice for at least 20 years
• Must have audited a rural bank for more than 18 years
• Must have a sufficient number of qualified staff to undertake audit assignments at any given time
• Team lead must have requisite professional qualifications and must have been handling audit assignments continuously for not less than 15 years, with a demonstrated record of high integrity

Required Proposal Components

• Curriculum vitae (CVs) of key personnel who will be involved in the audit work, clearly specifying their roles
• Evidence of similar assignments conducted within the last 15 years, including client references
• Technical proposal including detailed methodology, work schedules, and verifiable means of quality assurance
