About the Role
Arla Foods Ghana is seeking an experienced Export/Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager Ghana, this role covers all distribution sales and export markets within the West African region. You will be responsible for leading the execution of profitability-aligned short, medium, and long-term strategies across distributor sales markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercialize the company's products by executing and tracking market policies and strategies in assigned export markets to achieve established objectives
- Support the sales department in monitoring prices and preparing price analyses
- Lead the implementation of medium-term sales strategies across channels, territories, product lines, market segments, customer accounts, and distributors
- Plan, direct, and monitor sales team activities within specified geographies, product lines, or market segments to achieve established sales targets
- Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns, managing day-to-day sales team operations to implement the organization's overall sales strategy
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets
- Monitor sales volume, revenue, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas
- Adapt procedures and reallocate resources to improve overall sales team performance
- Negotiate sales with existing and new strategic customers
- Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies
