About the Company

Our client is the leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana, seeking a hands-on Medical Representative to be based in the Kumasi office, overseeing day-to-day operations in the Kumasi region.

Position Overview

The Medical Representative will be responsible for driving sales, expanding the product portfolio, and managing customer relationships within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed sales goals
• Prospect for new customers within the assigned territory and sell company products
• Grow portfolio through the development of new leads and contacts
• Manage the existing customer base through regular visits
• Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
• Ensure excellent customer service through regular client follow-up
• Research and identify opportunities in new and existing markets
• Grow market share of assigned products by scouting for new clients and maintaining existing relationships
• Ensure in-store visibility of company products through provision of regular and relevant information on products, prices, and promotions
• Prepare and submit periodic (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) marketing and sales reports
• Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of marketing and sales strategies
• Participate in the organization of trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities to increase marketing and sales of products
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Applied Science, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Medical Representative
