Position Overview

The Driver is responsible for all transport-related duties including fleet and journey management. The position holder ensures that all journeys are properly and timely executed in line with organizational policies and manages the day-to-day logistic requirements of the organization.

• Location: Tema, Ghana
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Reports to: HR and Administration Officer
• Key Relationships: Project Officers, Operations Manager, Programmes Manager, Executive Director, Consultants, Contractors

Main Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, products, and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner
• Manage and properly execute all journeys in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide and maintain accurate time records of all vehicle trips
• Keep the vehicle clean, properly maintained, and in good condition at all times
• Ensure vehicle insurance and roadworthiness documentation are current and notify management before renewal is due
• Regularly check and maintain vehicle consumables such as engine oil, water, and other fluids, changing them when due as part of routine maintenance
