## Title: District Coordinator – Business Development Officer

Position Overview

Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) is seeking District Coordinators to drive the implementation of MSME support initiatives at the district level. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between GEA and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), helping businesses access critical resources, training, and growth opportunities.

Job Purpose

The District Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of interventions to promote MSMEs at the district level and providing comprehensive support services to help these enterprises thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall implementation of GEA projects and programmes at the district level
  • Assist MSMEs in completing application forms with accurate details and ensuring all prerequisite documents are provided
  • Register MSMEs at the district level and maintain a comprehensive database of all registered businesses for future programme implementation
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and diagnostic reviews on MSMEs by validating business type, location, and other relevant applicant details
  • Ensure all GEA projects and programmes reach beneficiaries on a regular and consistent basis
  • Assist MSMEs in organizing, compiling, and tracking financial records
  • Coordinate capacity building activities for target groups at the district level
  • Facilitate MSME access to markets, grants, and credit opportunities through coordinated interventions
  • Support MSMEs in registering with and obtaining certificates from relevant regulatory bodies
  • Identify appropriate e-commerce and social media platforms, establish accounts based on business needs, and monitor MSME activity to ensure consistent engagement
  • Provide business counselling services and conduct needs assessments through surveys and interviews
  • Assess business training needs through surveys and direct interviews with MSMEs
  • Complete additional assignments as directed by management
