Position Overview

WASCAL seeks a Director of Research to lead its Competence Centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and consolidate its position as Africa's premier institution for climate change and sustainable energy solutions.

Position Details

• Location: WASCAL Competence Centre, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
• Contract Duration: 3 years (renewable)
• Reports to: Executive Director of WASCAL
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

The Director of Research will lead research initiatives through the dedicated Competence Centre in Burkina Faso and across the organization's 17 graduate programmes. Research efforts focus on advancing climate science and providing actionable knowledge to member countries.
