Deputy Head of Estate Management at Reputable Company

Position Overview

Full-Time Administrative/Management position based in Accra, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work plans, control systems, and monitoring mechanisms for the Estate Management Department to achieve targeted objectives, subject to approval
• Participate in developing revenue mobilization strategies and plans to facilitate collection of ground rents, levies, and other payments from Estate Owners
• Participate in developing systems, processes, and procedures for ground rent and levy collection; monitor implementation to ensure compliance
• Coordinate and supervise the valuation and re-valuation of estates; make recommendations to management for consideration
• Participate in the preparation and processing of new leases, consents, and lease renewals for estate owners in accordance with approved policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Compute relevant levies on company Estate Leases based on approved guidelines; ensure timely distribution of ground rent bills and related documentation to Estate Owners and Customers
• Participate in designing a comprehensive monitoring framework and oversee its implementation to ensure Estate Owners comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contract terms
• Conduct periodic estate visits to monitor compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
• Liaise with the Development Control Unit to ensure effective implementation of approved monitoring systems; track and safeguard undeveloped company lands from encroachment and illegal practices
• Monitor and ensure appropriate logistics are deployed to task force teams to facilitate developmental control operations and activities
