Position Overview
The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit Directorate. This is a full-time position based in Accra, Ghana.
Reports To: Vice-Chancellor
Position Description
While the Vice-Chancellor, as Chief Executive Officer, is the overall University Chief Risk Officer, the Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit (DDRMIA) shall coordinate all risk management activities of the University.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy core enterprise risk management toolsets including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting templates
- Develop and implement communication tools for risk management across the University
- Ensure compliance with risk management requirements of the University's financial regulations
- Ensure compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Coordinate all risk management activities across the University
