The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit Directorate. This is a full-time position reporting to the Vice-Chancellor.

Role Description

The Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit (DDRMIA) shall coordinate all risk management activities of the University. While the Vice-Chancellor, as the Chief Executive Officer, is the overall University Chief Risk Officer, the DDRMIA will develop and deploy the core enterprise risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy core enterprise risk management toolset including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation
• Establish monitoring, reporting templates, and communication tools for risk management
• Ensure compliance with the University's financial regulations
• Ensure compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards
• Ensure compliance with other applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate all risk management activities across the University
