Position Overview

Title: Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit Directorate

Reports To: Vice-Chancellor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Accra, Ghana

Position Description

While the Vice-Chancellor serves as the overall University Chief Risk Officer, the Deputy Director, Risk Management, Internal Audit (DDRMIA) shall coordinate all risk management activities of the University.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy core enterprise risk management toolsets including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting templates
• Establish and maintain communication tools for effective risk management across the organization
• Ensure compliance with the risk management requirements of the University's financial regulations
• Ensure adherence to International Public Sector Accounting Standards
• Meet all other applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate risk management activities across all University departments and functions
