School Structure

The University of Ghana Dental School comprises the following departments:

• Biomaterial Sciences
• Oral Biology
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Oral Pathology and Medicine
• Orthodontics and Pedodontics
• Preventive and Community Dentistry
• Restorative Dentistry

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the School and maintain efficiency and good order in accordance with the policies and procedures prescribed by the University Act and Statutes
• Ensure that approved programmes and functions of the School are duly carried out by members of the School
• Oversee general administration of the School in respect of human, financial and material resources within the general framework established by the University
