Key Responsibilities
The Dean of Graduate Studies shall, under the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs), be responsible for:
- Overall coordination and development of the University of Ghana's School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and delivery of graduate programmes to ensure excellence across all aspects of graduate training
- Oversight, supervision, and coordination of the administration and operations of the SGS, including supervision of employees working at the School
- Contributing to the development of University policy in areas affecting postgraduate students and liaising with departments to ensure consistency in arrangements supporting postgraduate education throughout the University
