Position Overview

Mountcrest University College invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Dean across the following faculties and schools:

• Faculty of Laws
• Mountcrest Business School
• School of Foreign and Ghanaian Languages

Key Responsibilities

The Dean is responsible for the general development of the Faculty/School, including:

• Managing human and material resources
• Promoting the work of the Faculty/School
• Providing student counselling and support
• Co-ordinating teaching and examination activities
• Overseeing student and staff induction programmes
• Facilitating research initiatives
• Advancing institutional development and partnerships

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Professorial status or equivalent grade in an analogous institution
• Demonstrated distinction as a scholar with the capacity to motivate and direct staff
• High sense of professionalism, leadership qualities, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to manage and control crisis situations
• Visionary mindset with business orientation
• Ability to establish rapport between industry and the university
• Maturity, sobriety, and drive for sound and impartial judgement
• Proven capacity to attract grants and funds for research and development activities
