Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Sales Representative to establish and develop distribution networks for our product lines across Accra and its surrounding areas, including Tema and Kasoa. This role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth, build customer relationships, and expand our market presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and develop distribution networks for company product lines in Accra, Tema, and Kasoa
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets established by the Factory Manager
• Appoint and manage 3 key distributors in Accra, 1 in Tema, and 1 in Kasoa
• Ensure all company products are stocked in major supermarkets across Accra, Kasoa, and Tema
• Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services
• Prospect and identify new and potential customers
• Maintain customer relationships and keep the Sales Manager updated on customer information
• Answer client questions regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programmes
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
• Obtain deposits and collect balance of payments from clients
• Collect outstanding debts and submit payments to the Accounts Officer
• Keep and update records of all clients
• Provide the Sales Manager with information on market and competitor activities
• Submit credit sales information and debtor particulars to the Accounts Department
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
• 5 years of experience in sales
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
• Commitment to excellent customer service
