Credit Manager at Reputable Bank

Position Overview

A reputable Rural Bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking qualified applicants to occupy the position of Credit Manager.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Agricultural Business with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in Rural Banking and 5 years in a similar Credit Manager position
• Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Credit Manager in a Rural Bank

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update the bank's credit policies
• Create credit scoring models to predict risks
• Prepare and submit all credit reports as required by the Bank of Ghana and other regulatory and supervisory bodies, as well as the board and management
• Maintain regulatory benchmarks for Non-Performing Loans at all times

Required Skills & Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of credit issues, including classification of loans and aging analysis
• Strong credit management expertise
• Ability to work efficiently to maintain regulatory compliance
