Credit Manager at Odotobri Rural Bank

About the Role

Odotobri Rural Bank PLC, located in Jacobu, Amansie Central District, Ashanti Region, is seeking a Credit Manager to lead credit operations and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the bank's credit strategy
• Make recommendations for reviews of lending policies
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports on key credit issues, exposures, and periodic credit reviews to the CEO
• Prepare monthly credit reports and submit all loan reports to Credit References Bureaus
• Register all securities in the collateral registry
• Conduct regular credit facility reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Monitor all loans and report early warning signs to the Chief Executive Officer
• Serve as Secretary to the Management Credit Committee
• Maintain a minimum loan recovery rate of 98% on a monthly basis
• Achieve a monthly recovery rate of 5% for overdue loans

Required Qualifications & Experience

• First degree in a related field
• Acceptable professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, or Project Management
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position in the rural banking industry

• Strong planning, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Good understanding of IFRS 9 credit impairment models
