About the Role

Kintampo Rural Bank, a reputable financial institution in the Bono East Region of Ghana, is seeking a qualified Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for providing essential clerical and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of our banking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily vouchers and maintain accurate registers
• Provide clerical support for effective and efficient banking operations
• Handle customer financial transactions with accuracy and confidentiality
• Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Educate customers about the Bank's products and services
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Agency Accountant

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CA, ACIB, or CIMA)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in banking, with at least 1 year as a Clerk or Teller
• Proficiency with T24 banking application software (essential)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advantageous)
