Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships
• Conduct market research, analyze prices, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with the university's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Manage procurement processes, including tendering, bidding, and contract award
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs
• Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts and records

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Professional qualifications are an added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven track record of successful procurement projects
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with procurement software and systems
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
