About the Position

Ghana Baptist University College seeks a Registrar to serve as Chief Operating Officer of the institution. Working in accordance with policy directives of the council, the Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the University College. This role also includes serving as Secretary to the Office of the Chancellor, the University Council, and the Academic Board. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice and briefings to the President and provide leadership and management across a wide range of activities while guiding the framework within which policies are made.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain custody of the University seal and affix it to documents following directions of the council and academic board in accordance with their respective powers under the statutes
• Compile the list of graduating students and ensure the production and issuance of certificates, transcripts, and all other relevant student academic records and documents
• Maintain custody of all legal documents and records of the University
• Publish all policy decisions of the council and academic board in the University Bulletin at the end of each semester
• Provide leadership in marketing the University to attract quality students and increase enrollment
• Develop human resources of the University to equip staff with requisite skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform effectively
