Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Reputable Hospital

Position Overview

A reputable hospital in Accra seeks an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead all strategic and operational activities. The CEO will ensure the hospital delivers the highest quality healthcare in a professional, effective, and efficient manner. This position reports to the Board Chairman.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of successful hospital management experience
• Over 15 years of experience in health institutions

Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic and day-to-day operations of the hospital
• Ensure all departments are fully and comprehensively staffed
• Supervise all clinical, medical, and non-medical departments to deliver high-quality medical services
• Maintain sound financial investments, adequate staffing patterns, and strict adherence to hospital policies and procedures
• Implement and facilitate communication channels between medical and non-medical staff to ensure harmonious delivery of services
• Oversee delivery of quality primary and secondary healthcare
• Ensure clinical practices that guarantee high-quality clinical outcomes
• Provide supervision and advice on clinical activities, including outpatient and inpatient services, ward rounds, and surgical interventions
• Promote a culture of learning and maintain current knowledge of diagnostic and treatment practices
• Ensure teams conduct needs assessments, clinical studies, and surveys with adherence to national and international clinical ethics standards
• Ensure clinical cases requiring treatment beyond hospital capacity are appropriately referred
