Agona Rural Bank Limited is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and performance-driven Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will deliver the bank's mandate with overall supervision and responsibility for the effective and efficient functioning of the organization.

Role Purpose

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for delivering the mandate of the Rural Bank and shall have overall supervision and responsibility for the effective and efficient functioning of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the business of the bank to achieve strategic objectives, sustained productivity, and growth
• Formulate and implement policies, procedures, and strategies for carrying out the work of the bank
• Provide leadership and guidance through coordination of activities across all departments and agencies
• Prepare and present technical papers to the Board of Directors for decision-making
• Efficiently manage human, financial, and physical resources to achieve organizational goals
• Oversee operational and financial administration of the bank
• Implement policies, decisions, and strategies approved by the Board
• Establish linkages with the Bank of Ghana, ARB Apex Bank, and other financial institutions and external bodies
• Prepare and submit prudential returns to regulatory bodies including ARB Apex Bank, Bank of Ghana, and the Association of Rural Banks
• Ensure compliance with the Banks and Specialised Deposit-Taking Institutions Act 2016 (Act 930), the ARB Apex Bank Regulations (L 1825) 2006, Companies Act 2019 (Act 992), and other relevant legislations and directives
• Coordinate preparation of the Bank's Strategic Plan and budgets and ensure efficient management
