About the Role
AAA Paper LTD is seeking Business Development Executives to drive growth in the modern trade channel. This role involves developing relationships with major retail chains, executing sales strategies, and managing day-to-day store operations to maximize product visibility and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Modern Trade Channel Development & Negotiation
- Independently liaise with procurement departments and store management of major supermarket chains (e.g., Melcom, Shoprite, MaxMart)
- Negotiate product listing, shelf display, promotional policies, and contract terms
- Ensure timely and successful onboarding of products in stores
- Coordinate between headquarters and retail chains on account reconciliation, promotional approvals, and new product rollouts
Store Operations & Sales Activation
- Develop and execute in-store sales activation plans, including display setups, promotions, and endcap arrangements
- Monitor sales performance at each store and optimize replenishment schedules
- Ensure consistent product availability across all locations
- Guide and manage in-store promoters to maintain execution standards
Data Analysis & Market Insights
- Regularly collect sales data, stock reports, and feedback from supermarket partners
- Provide actionable insights and improvement recommendations
- Monitor competitor activities including pricing, displays, and promotional strategies
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to drive key project implementation
- May take responsibility for onboarding and training new staff or act as a regional supervisor as needed
Required Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sales or channel development
- At least 1 year of experience in modern trade or retail operations
