Builsa Community Bank LTD, with its head office in Sandema in the Upper East Region of Ghana, is seeking suitably qualified professionals to join our team.

Position Overview

The Credit Manager will provide leadership, supervision, management, and control of the operations of the credit unit of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of all credit and microfinance officers across all bank agencies
• Provide technical advice to management on the bank's credit and microfinance activities
• Ensure effective periodic monitoring and follow-up of loans and advances granted to clients to ensure timely repayment
• Ensure compliance with the bank's policies on loans and microfinance across all agencies and report to the Chief Executive Officer
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

Required Qualifications

• First Degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in credit management or related field
• Master's Degree (advantageous)

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with banking systems and knowledge of T24 banking application software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong ability to motivate and drive growth
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
