Analyst, Revenue Assurance & Fraud Operations Support at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

Responsible for proactively monitoring and implementing controls and related activities to prevent revenue leakage and detect fraudulent transactions within the telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and identify inherent potential risks within prepaid services (Xtra Time/Byte/Money) and roaming operations
• Design and implement primary and secondary controls to prevent and detect revenue leakage
• Monitor primary controls performance and assigned activities
• Oversee secondary control performance and manage exception remediation
• Conduct daily data quality monitoring on the Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM) platform
• Analyze revenue reporting and usage trends
• Execute pre- and post-implementation testing for prepaid products and services
• Review system changes and user activity logs for prepaid and roaming services
• Perform borrowing and repayment analysis
• Conduct daily analysis on inbound and outbound roaming subscribers for usage and charge variations
• Perform bad debt aging analysis
• Complete additional work-related tasks as assigned by line manager

Required Qualifications

• First degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• 3 years of relevant experience in a technology-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
• Chartered Information Systems Manager (CISM) certification
