Position Overview

AGROPAL West Africa Limited, a growing organization committed to empowering every actor in the agricultural value chain, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its Production Department. This role offers an excellent platform for professional development and requires flexibility based on the factory production schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documented quality and food safety systems, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure resources and inputs needed for work are readily available
• Ensure daily departmental targets are met on time
• Verify that raw materials received for processing meet quality and quantity standards
• Ensure raw fruits are stored properly in designated areas
• Monitor stock levels and utilize first-in, first-out (FIFO) or last-in, first-out (LIFO) inventory methods to prevent fruit spoilage
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout the production area
• Ensure prompt start of daily work in each department
• Provide continuous training and coaching to workers, and review their performance
• Implement disciplinary procedures at workstations as needed
• Manage and control dryer operations
• Ensure dried products meet specified quality standards
• Initiate and coordinate inventory of finished goods warehouse
• Report immediately any equipment breakage, damage, or malfunction to the Production Manager
• Manage and maintain all production tools and equipment in the factory
• Ensure effective cleaning of all production equipment, dryers, and factory premises
• Maintain organized and accessible records for analysis and reference
