Job Summary
Join AirtelTigo's Business Department as an Account Manager for HVC – SME. You will report to the Sales Manager HVC – SME and be responsible for safeguarding and growing revenue from allocated HVC – SME accounts nationally. Through strategic account planning, opportunity management, and relationship building, you will meet annual targets for sales, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide account data to the Sales Manager for developing sales plans and monitoring implementation
- Lead and participate in virtual account teams to meet profitability and revenue targets
- Develop contact strategies and account development plans (ADP) for each allocated account
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects, guiding the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales closure
- Demonstrate thought leadership at board level within HVC-SME and allocated accounts, articulating understanding of customer business strategies and presenting AirtelTigo Business's compelling value proposition
- Identify sales training and development needs and manage skills enhancement for yourself and the virtual account team
- Ensure integrated channel management through appropriate systems such as CRM; leverage knowledge management to increase account management professionalism
- Integrate quality management processes within all sales activities for allocated accounts, ensuring effective daily deployment
- Use relevant metrics and measures to monitor progress against targets routinely and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded
