Transport Coordinator at Graphic Communications Group LTD

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join Graphic Communications Group LTD in Accra, Ghana. This is a full-time position responsible for managing the company's vehicle fleet and coordinating transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the roadworthiness of the company's fleet of vehicles
• Plan, implement, and control the scheduling of vehicles for assignments, maintenance, and repairs
• Match drivers with routes to facilitate timely and efficient deliveries
• Liaise between the company and vehicle service providers
• Manage the vehicle maintenance programme and workshop to ensure optimal vehicle availability to meet demand
• Maintain stock control of parts in the workshop
• Maintain complete records of all vehicles from acquisition through use and decommissioning
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Monitor vehicle operating costs to ensure they remain within budget
• Develop, maintain, and implement duty rosters for drivers

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum HND in Transport Management or related field
• At least 5 years of experience managing a large fleet
• Valid driving license (D1, D2, or D3)

• Strong knowledge of motor traffic regulations in Ghana
• Keen eye for detail
• Team leadership and supervisory skills
• Flexible attitude to working arrangements
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
