About the Role

Mantrac Ghana Limited, Ghana's sole authorized dealer for Caterpillar Earthmoving, Construction, Power System and Lift Truck Products, invites applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanics and Technicians to join our service department.

The Mantrac Trainee Service Engineer Program is designed to train and develop Workshop and Field Service Engineers who will meet Caterpillar Standards at the leading edge of technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on service and maintenance support for Caterpillar equipment
• Work in workshop and field environments across multiple locations
• Develop technical expertise in equipment diagnostics and repair
• Engage in continuous training and professional development

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of MVT Part 3 or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• BSc in Mechanical, Mining, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering (advantageous)

Key Requirements

• Completion of Caterpillar Technician for Africa online course prior to employment
• Ability to work in remote, noisy, and challenging field conditions
• Commitment to continual training and professional development
• Strong English language communication skills
• Team player mentality
• Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office Suite and internet applications
