About the Role

The Mantrac Trainee Service Engineer Program is designed to train and develop Workshop and Field Service Engineers who will meet Caterpillar Standards at the leading edge of technology.

We invite applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanics/Technicians for employment in the service department. This is a challenging role requiring hands-on experience in remote, noisy, and dirty conditions.

Qualifications Required

• A minimum of MVT Part 3 or a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• BSc in Mechanical, Mining, Agricultural or Electrical Engineering (advantageous)

Key Requirements

• Completion of the Caterpillar Technician for Africa online course prior to employment
• Dedication to continual training and development throughout your career
• Strong English communication skills
• Team player mentality
• Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office Suite and the internet
• Ability to work in challenging field conditions
