Position Overview

The Pearl House seeks a creative and dedicated Curriculum and Teacher Coordinator to support our teaching staff in delivering engaging, high-quality classroom instruction. In this role, you will train, resource, and encourage our teachers to excel as they work with our students, helping them implement innovative teaching methods and best practices across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular teacher training sessions focused on creative teaching methods, critical thinking instruction, and behavior management strategies
• Perform classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in teaching performance
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt the GES curriculum, making it more accessible and practical for classroom implementation
• Incorporate quality literature and resources into curriculum planning
• Manage the purchasing and distribution of teacher learning materials
• Develop special education assessment and accommodations plans (Phase Two)
