Position Overview

CDD-Ghana is seeking a Senior Analyst to advance policy-relevant research, outreach, and policy advice on democracy, good governance, and related fields. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in working with a respected organization while engaging with international institutions, governments, NGOs, and think tanks to lead research-based strategic work on democracy support and protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative, high-quality, policy-relevant research focusing on CDD-Ghana's core thematic areas in democracy and governance
• Work closely with the research team, including consultants, to conduct analyses on issues identified by the policy and practitioner community
• Write persuasive research papers, policy briefs, country analyses, op-eds, and other knowledge products for various audiences
• Coordinate and delegate research tasks while ensuring final reports, deliverables, event memos, and other documents are submitted promptly
• Lead in communicating research findings to practitioners, media, and policymakers
• Organize, host, and speak at conferences, panel discussions, debates, and other policy events to communicate research findings and provide policy-relevant advice
• Participate in domestic and international engagement activities
