Position Overview
As a Technical Supervisor Assistant, you will be responsible for controlling and maintaining the car fleet of a taxi company. Working under the fleet manager, you will ensure all vehicles remain in optimal working condition through systematic inspection, maintenance, and coordination with repair services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the fleet in proper technical condition through verification and implementation of routine maintenance
- Conduct daily fleet inspections to identify faults and schedule necessary repairs promptly
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work and fleet activities
- Monitor vehicle condition daily and review drivers' and operators' vehicle and equipment logs
- Inspect completed car repairs and make necessary adjustments or follow-ups with repair shops
- Review document control mechanisms and processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Evaluate scheduled maintenance activities against vehicle logs and report any deviations to the Head of Business
- Maintain and monitor historical vehicle data to ensure accurate information for management decision-making
- Alert managers in a timely manner about necessary technical work
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of vehicle technical systems, mechanics, electrics, and electronics
- Ability to use portable and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with PC and Excel, including data entry and table preparation
- Knowledge of driving rules, regulations, and local road conditions
- Understanding of chauffeur protocol and security issues
Expected Outcomes
Under the direction of the fleet supervisor, all vehicles must be maintained in good condition. Necessary repairs should be carried out as soon as possible, with the Technical Supervisor Assistant monitoring vehicle conditions and alerting management to technical needs in a timely manner.
