Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

Lead and manage a team and processes that provide senior management with business-related financial forecasts and operating performance. Inform management on the progress and effectiveness of the company's strategic plans and investments, as well as identify levers that can be pulled to optimize performance or meet specific financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for company-wide forecasts (managerial accounting), specifically planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the business
• Leverage data to support management decisions, including financial performance improvement, risk minimization, and capturing new opportunities from internal and external environments
• Provide insights for commercially robust business planning
• Guide and advise internal clients on the financial implications of proposed actions and decisions
• Deliver appropriate finance support to functional units to create competitive advantage and enhance shareholder value
• Provide decision support to Lines of Business (LoBs) from a finance perspective
• Collaborate with Finance Centres of Excellence (CoE) and MTN Operations Finance Business Partners to develop and implement an integrated financial planning strategy
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect the MTN business from potential losses
• Review commission calculations to ensure compliance with approved commission structures
• Prepare and update Line and Business heads with key analytics to enable informed decision-making
• Implement proactive first-line controls for department-related risks, including regulatory risks
• Deliver analysis and insights on business performance
