Senior Analyst, Mobile Money Audit at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

This role is responsible for implementing high-priority and high-risk mobile financial services audits as assigned, and project managing medium to high-priority proactive and reactive assurance work in line with MTN Ghana, Mobile Money Limited (MML) audit plans, and the standards and methodologies established by MTN Group Internal Audit and Forensics function.

The position performs assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk and compliance management, and internal controls including technology controls. The role provides recommendations for improvements, ensures internal audit processes and systems are robust for risk identification and mitigation, and assists in developing internal processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Mobile Money Ltd (MML) related internal audit plans to ensure that MML processes (people, processes, and technology) comply with company policies and statutory and regulatory requirements
• Monitor changes in legislation that impact MML and update policies and processes repository accordingly
• Serve as a key member of the MML audit team executing internal high-risk and high-priority audits, including conducting interviews, data and system analysis, testing, preparing database updates, providing status reports, and preparing final audit reports in accordance with internal standards and methodologies
• Prepare and review final MML reports, ensuring plan execution, consistency, quality, and adherence to standards and methodologies
• Lead or participate in other audits such as Integrated Audits and Halo Audits
• Ensure that internal control processes established by management to safeguard MML-related assets and liabilities are carried out as expected
