About the Role

A leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana is seeking a hands-on Security Supervisor to be based in the Accra offices, overseeing day-to-day security operations in Tema.

Key Responsibilities

• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors
• Provide specialized security for and monitor access to limited and restricted areas such as cold storage rooms and inventory areas
• Keep all keys safe, secure, and confidential
• Conduct and/or supervise searches of vehicles, personnel, bags, and containers to prevent unlawful removal of finished products, raw materials, tools, and scrap materials from the site
• Implement security measures for all assigned facilities
• Lead emergency evacuation procedures for staff and visitors
• Promptly report all incidents and suspected or attempted crimes to the head of security
• Seize items detected during searches or spot checks and apprehend perpetrators as needed
• Write detailed reports and document all facts and evidence related to security incidents

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school qualification or equivalent
• Security training qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar security supervisory role
