Security Officer at Graphic Communications Group LTD

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual who will contribute to the growth and profitability of the company by supervising security guards. You will ensure that duties are performed in accordance with the company's requirements so that company staff, premises, and properties are secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the Head of Security to protect personnel and properties
• Prepare staff rosters and assign duties and locations to guards
• Ensure outsourced security guards maintain professional standards at all times
• Conduct ad hoc inspection rounds to ensure duties are performed to required standards
• Provide basic day-to-day training to staff as required
• Ensure vehicle log books and movement records are maintained according to policy standards
• Draft periodic and occurrence reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications and Experience

You must meet one of the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any social sciences from a recognised institution plus a minimum of four (4) years post-qualification relevant work experience
• OR: Served as a Security Officer in a comparable grade in a similar institution or organisation for at least three (3) years with an impeccable record
• OR: Served in the Armed Forces, Police, or any major security service and held security-related positions with at least three (3) years of minimum relevant work experience
