Security Manager at Graphic Communications Group LTD

About the Role

Graphic Communications Group LTD is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee and coordinate all security activities across our operations in Accra, Ghana. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead security initiatives and ensure the safety of our properties and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security activities to ensure maximum safety of properties and staff
• Manage third party and contract security personnel on site
• Coordinate and monitor enforcement of the company's policies, rules, and regulations regarding safety and security
• Investigate and report security lapses, fire outbreaks, motor vehicle accidents, and other industrial incidents
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies
• Manage the company's electronic security systems
• Prepare, implement, and monitor annual budgets for the security unit

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any social sciences from a recognized institution, plus a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in industrial security duties, OR
• Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution, plus a minimum of 9 years post-qualification experience in industrial security duties, OR
• Rank of Captain in the Army or equivalent rank in the police service or any other security agency
