Job description
## Title: Sales Manager (Retail) - Sanlam Insurance
Job Purpose
Lead the retail channel to deliver sustained market growth through delightful and reliable customer experience, enabling individuals and families to achieve financial confidence and security.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute retail market growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Attract, train, support, and retain engaged and motivated advisor teams
- Ensure delivery of productivity budgets in line with sales mix and key performance imperatives
- Build market pipelines, open new markets, and lead advisors to meet productivity targets
- Maintain stakeholder engagement through regular customer, industry, and market feedback to drive service and offering improvements
- Provide entrepreneurial leadership to build and sustain a culture of performance excellence aligned with Sanlam core values
- Execute additional duties as assigned by line manager
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Insurance from a recognized institution
- At least 2 years of managerial experience in financial services, specifically leading sales teams
- Proven track record of successful sales team leadership
- Demonstrated strong work and ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or HND in Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
